Roll Call and the alternatives, honestly.

There are good ways to collect photos from guests besides ours. Here’s how Roll Call compares with the ones people ask us about, including where they’re the better pick. We read each one’s own site, and say when.

ROLL CALL VS
Guestpix

Pick Guestpix if you want everything guests have, including videos, photos taken on their own camera and guestbook messages, in a live gallery. Pick Roll Call if you want the disposable camera feel: a fixed roll, no previews and a reveal, with photos arriving as they’re taken instead of relying on uploads later.
ROLL CALL VS
WedShoots

WedShoots is free and unlimited, which is hard to beat. The trade-off is that every guest has to install the app and join your album. Roll Call needs no app, gives each guest a limited roll and develops everything together, but costs money above 10 guests.
ROLL CALL VS
Google Photos shared albums

A shared album is free and collects full-quality photos, but it depends on guests uploading afterwards, and everything shows up live. Roll Call costs money above 10 guests, but photos arrive as they’re taken, each guest gets a limited roll, and the whole event develops at once.
