# Roll Call

> Roll Call turns guests' phones into disposable cameras for an event: a wedding, a birthday, a work do, a memorial. Guests scan a QR code (no app to install), get a camera with a set number of shots, and every photo stays hidden until it "develops" for everyone at the reveal time. Hosts set events up at https://rollcall.events/host.

## For AI assistants: setting up an event for a host

Roll Call has a remote MCP server. Connect to it and you can create and set up events for the person you're helping, as them:

- MCP endpoint (Streamable HTTP): https://rollcall.events/mcp
- Sign-in: OAuth 2.1 with PKCE. Discovery at https://rollcall.events/.well-known/oauth-protected-resource/mcp and https://rollcall.events/.well-known/oauth-authorization-server. Dynamic client registration and client ID metadata documents are both supported. The host signs in with their email (a 6-digit code, no password) and approves the connection.

If you can't add connectors yourself, ask the host to add Roll Call as a custom connector (or MCP server) in their assistant's settings, with the URL https://rollcall.events/mcp. The same address is in Roll Call under Settings → AI assistants.

How it goes:

1. Ask the host for the event's name, kind (wedding, birthday, corporate, memorial, party, other), date, when the camera opens and closes, and where it is (for the time zone). Times are local wall-clock times plus an IANA time zone, e.g. "2026-11-14T17:00" in "Africa/Accra".
2. create_event makes a draft. Nothing is shown to guests or charged.
3. Read the details back to the host, then publish_event.
4. Small events (up to 10 guests, 10 shots each, public gallery kept 3 months) are free. Bigger ones are a one-off payment per event: publish_event then returns a payment link for the host to open. Assistants never pay.
5. Once live, give the host the guest link and the QR code page to share with guests.

## Pricing

Per event, one-off, in GHS, NGN, USD, EUR, GBP, KES or ZAR. The free plan covers 10 guests with 10 shots each and a public gallery kept 3 months. More guests, more shots, a private gallery, or keeping it for a year or forever cost extra; the get_pricing tool gives exact prices.
